Africa Day 25 May 2008 was to be anticipated as an all embracing scoop for Standard Bank’s presence in Africa.
Due to the xenophobia embracing the country at the time, the campaign message was particularly poignant in embracing all Africans.
The radio campaign was part of an enormous drive on TV and PR reflecting the notion of “Some say that we are in Africa. We say that Africa is in us.”
The radio campaign ran from end May to mid June and was literally produced overnight.
