The Republic of Connection was an industrial theatre anthem developed as an interactive event for a Telkom customer-related staff conference. Each verse in the song allowed space for the words to be uniquely created by 6 different groups, one for each attribute of the company. The lyrics communicated these qualities in rhythm and rap, harmony and melody, song and speech. Boomwhackers and drums provided by Drum Café, contributed to the intensity of the rhythm. The chorus enabled all groups to participate together in a jubilant affirmation of each value in the Republic.
Composed by Lynn Joffe and Adam Howard
