E'kasi

‘Kasi is a dynamic interactive edutainment sitcom series broadcast weekly on 6 stations in 6 languages from May 2009. 'Kasi’s objective is to convince South Africans of the importance of establishing a savings culture as individuals and as a community. 

The music brief was to create a kind of ‘Dallas comes to the Township’.  Creatrix and Howard Music composed an unforgettable track with a distinct kasi flavour. The signature tune is an instant call to action, used  as the underscore to all promo spots, billboards, stings and a chill backtrack over which the campaign competition and live elements can be read.  An ‘in your face’ kasi raptrack was created for Gagasi featuring the vocal stylings of Flabba from Skwatta Camp.
