Smooth Moves is a dynamic, interactive DJ/Talent feature flighting on selected youth stations on consecutive Friday evenings during 2009. YFM, Capricorn, Gagasi and Tru FM have been selected to establish and build an emotional connection with existing and potential Smoothies consumers, building the ‘streetcred’ of the brand.
Presenter driven promos and billboards entice listeners to download the smoothies song, a hip, branded kwaito and hip hop music track that form the core of the campaign identity. From generic spots, to ringtones, on air stylings to the live finale club mix, contestants will ‘strut their stuff’ to the Smoothies Song.
At the end of the campaign, a live grand finale will be held. The contestant with the Smoothest Moves will win a 2 week internship at the station.
