Homey2Homey

In partnership with the Department of Housing and Absa, this 3 minute 10-part series ran on 6 x ALS Stations during May 2005. 

The main character, Homey, interacted with ‘Homeys’ from all walks of life to create a theatre of the mind neighbourhood in which aspects and advantages of home ownership were discussed in an entertaining, informative manner.

The series was broadcast in English, Afrikaans, TshiVenda, XiTsonga, Sesotho and isiXhosa.  It covered all aspects of the home ownership process, from the decision to buy to the registration and transfer of the property in easy to understand, empathic layman’s terms.
